How To Make DIY Homemade Body Wraps At Home
A body wrap treatment involves applying a blend of natural ingredients to certain areas of your skin, then wrapping those areas with cloths or plastic and relaxing for an hour or so while the mixture is absorbed into your skin.
Even though weight-loss claims have yet to be proven from body wraps, they do seem to tighten the loose and sagging skin on the areas where they are used, and many spas and salons offer these treatments as slimming solutions.
Body wraps can help moisturize your skin and heal acne breakouts, too, so they are beneficial!
It is more cost effective to do your own body wrap at home vs. paying for one at the Spa, and if you use the correct ingredients, your DIY homemade body wraps can be just as beneficial as any Spa wrap.

Making A Slimming Body Wrap with Clay
Take a cotton sheet or other cotton fabric and cut strips 5 feet long by 6 inches wide. You can also use Ace Bandages. Cotton is a nice choice because it soaks up the liquid and stays on your skin easily.
Before you begin your slim wrap, take a hot shower to open up the pores in your skin.
Next, in a bucket or large container, combine 2 cups distilled water, 2 Tbs. olive oil, 1 cup green clay and ¼ cup sea salt. Mix thoroughly.
Soak each strip in the mixture and ring out excess water before wrapping the strips on your body.
Start at your feet, and wrap the strips up your legs, and continue up your body, wrapping your arms last. You can also focus on troubled areas such as upper arms, thighs, or waist, rather than doing a total body wrap.
Lid down and relax for 30-45 minutes, then unwrap your body and rinse off the mixture with warm water.
Essential Oil Body Wrap
Essential oils can have great benefits for your skin and your health. Do your research to find which ones will work best for you.
